Lena L:  “I decided to write a Rebounding Diary because of how I felt on my 3rd day of Rebounding”:
After bouncing according to Sylvia’s Bone Density Project for 3 days (for just 2-3min two times per day) this is how I feel: I feel like a NEW person ! My back feels STRONG! I haven’t had this much ENERGY in years ! The PAIN in my back is gone !

I even feel taller? It feels like some switch have been turned in my body and all of a sudden things are working ??!! I am not a religious person but this feels like some healing power, like a story from the bible…. very hard to explain.

      Here is the answer

    Day 20
I can report that my “all over the body (except my face) symmetrical(!) skin rash and itching” stayed for more than 2 weeks, so it was really a big detox reaction, but it is all gone now and I feel just fine. I have a lot more energy, my body seems easier to move around, I find myself smiling now and then and my “head” seems to work faster(?) too. I like this!

That was quite a challenge, Lena. I am happy to hear that you are “through”. You have climbed up a level in your health!

    Day 14
Bounced 12 min (felt like 5 !) including arms and weights. I think the rash has reached its peak and is slowly going down. This started yesterday and continued today. Hurray !!! I FEEL YOUNG !! I want to dance. Went out to the forest today for 3 hours picking berries and felt lovely.

    Day 13
Still good energy, I seem to GET THINGS DONE a lot easier than before I started rebounding.

    Day 12
Bounced including arms for the first time. Used my “old” hand weights, it worked not so good, looking forward to order Sylvia’s. Have noticed that my feet feel a bit different, good different that is, are they more sensitive ? Do I have less dry skin on them? Also I notice that I dream more now (before I hardly ever did so – that I could remember anyhow when I woke up).

    Day 11
Walked in the forest for 3 hours incl standing still to pick 2L berries (20L now in the fridge – need to buy a freezer). No pain. I am still taking showers and drinking lots of water to help with my detox symptoms.

    Day 10
Walked (!) in the forest for 4 hours today. NO PAIN ! Still a lot of energy. My rash is maybe a bit better but still itching.

  • Lena September 22, 2011 at 2:27 pm

    Day 9
Felt a bit better (more stable) doing the stomp. 3 hour in the forest, stood mostly still picking berries. After a couple of hours i felt the pain (a little) in my back, right side as always. Some “hand-massage” and some walking and it went away, hurray ! STILL A LOT OF ENERGY. Have decided to bounce only once a day when I go out to the forest.

    Day 8
No trip to the forest and NO PAIN today. Have decided that both the thirst feeling and some rash that I’ve gotten, is symptoms that my body is detoxing ! Read that enough water to drink plus frequent showers is a good to help with this.

      Dear Lena,
Here some more ideas to support the detoxing process:
      1. Activate the skin (not the part where the rush is on however). Massage the skin with a brush.
      2. Also good: Alternating hot and cold water: First hot, then cold, then hot then cold. You do this either with the whole body (shower) or only with the feet. Put ice cold water in one basin, hot water in another. Put the feet in the hot and leave them for some minutes, then change to the cold.
      3. Also great for detoxing: Black tea foot bath: Make a lot of black tea and put it in a foot basin. Bathe your feet for 5-10 minutes. I know somebody who even got rid of fungus infection of his toe nails with that treatment. Be well! Sylvia

        Sylvia,
I do massage with a brush before I take my shower, good to know that it was the right thing to do. Regarding the Alternating hot and cold water, I used to do that but stopped when I got the rash and have only used hot water – I will go back to hot and cold. Never heard of Black tea foot bath! Sounds interesting, I will try that. Thank you very much for these suggestions.

    Day 7
A bit stiff in my hips today (the stomp yesterday?). Out in the woods for 5 hours. OK my back pain has returned !!! BUT with the “hand massage” and some walking it goes away ! (Before, I knew that when the pain showed its “ugly face” it was there to stay that day.) My energy is still high and I am still feeling positive !

    Day 6
Bounced all three ways – stomp is a bit hard. Lost half of a tooth today… Feel OK still.

    • Sylvia September 22, 2011 at 2:48 pm

You lost half of a tooth? By rebounding??? How did that happen?…

      • Lena September 22, 2011 at 4:34 pm

Hihi – No it didn’t happen while I was Rebounding ! I happened when I was eating something. Just wrote it down as it was an odd thing that happened that day. Hope the rest of my teeth will stay intact, and if they get stronger with rebounding I would be pleasantly surprised…

    Day 5
Still feel good. Went for a walk in the forest and when I stood still for quite a while and picked berries I felt the “old” pain in my back again. Did some simple massage with my hands and it got a little better and after I continued walking for a while the pain was gone !!! Noticed that I FEEL LIGHTER? Even though I am the same weight ! Odd. Maybe a little sore in my back & legs today. I have continued GREAT ENERGY ! Have decided that the mirror will stay as a part of my bouncing routine.

    Day 4
Today I suddenly noticed that I feel THIRST again ! Before I always had a glass of water in front of me to remind me to drink but now I seem to feel that I need water.
Is my body telling me: need more water to clean and flush out years of garbage stored in your system ???
No pain in my back but a bit stiff perhaps, also my shoulders a bit stiff. At my second bouncing today I used a MIRROR to see if my feet/legs where positioned correct.

    • Sylvia September 22, 2011 at 2:46 pm

Hi Lena, Yes this is common that people experience thirst. This is a very natural and very good response of your body. As with rebounding you start detoxing and for detoxing you need water to dilute the toxins and also to flush them out. Good going! Sylvia
